The Morgan silver dollar was minted between 1878 and 1904, and again, for a final year in 1921. Al of the coins have been dubbed cartwheels because Lady Liberty, whose profile appears on the coin's obverse (front) is surrounded by a ring -or cartwheel - of stars. George |
