14K Gold $2.50 Quarter Eagle Indian Head Rope PendantA great way to show your love for history. This is a $2.50 Quarter Eagle Indian Head set into a 14K yellow gold polished rope screw top bezel styled pendant. The coin is 18mm in diameter while the pendant is 1-1/4" x 7/8" and has a 3/16" bail opening. This coin is dated 1908-1929 and is a great piece to add to your collection. The Quarter Eagle was redesigned in 1908 by Bela Lyon Pratt. Liberty was removed from it obverse and replaced by a portrait of an Indian wearing a war bonnet. A standing Eagle adomed the reverse. The coin has no raised edges and the designs plus inscriptions are stamped incuse rather then being shown in high relief. The composition of this coin is .900 gold, .100 copper. The last Quarter Eagles were struck in 1929.
